It just happens that when clicked on "Remove all" the confirmation dialog appears behind "EQ Filters" window which is set to be on top thus covering confirmation dialog. Howver confirmation dialog is a modal dialog (in WIndows terms, not sure how it's called in Java) thus preventing setting focus on any other window including "EQ Filters", so there is no way to move "EQ Filters" to uncover confirmation dialog. Now REW appears to be hung. The only way out of this is to kill it via task manager.

Somewhat related to this subject: in my opinion, windows set to "... on top" should be topmost within REW application only rather than being topmost globally desktop-wide. (I might mentioned this before, sorry if this duplicates, not trying to be stubborn pain in a butt).
