(February 29, 2024) NextLevel Acoustics has unveiled its latest sound innovation: Audio Art. In the past, we've covered other discrete and aesthetically pleasing soundbar-like systems designed by the company – think Fusion Frame – but Audio Art steps up the design aspect a notch or two, helping to make speakers practically disappear. The system mounts around the outside edge of a TV, stealthfully hiding behind designer grilles married to a custom frame, giving your TV an art gallery appearance and the confidence to blend into any room.
Audio Art is available in two configurations:
- Art Series LCR (Left, Right, and Dual Center Channels): This version features four ported enclosures, each carrying four 2.5″ long throw woofers and a 1″ soft dome tweeter, positioned along the edges of your display. It supports a recommended amplifier power of 35-300 watts, boasting a frequency response that varies with the display size – ensuring compatibility with displays up to 100"-plus.
- Art Series Stereo: Tailored for audiophiles who appreciate stereo sound, this version includes left and right sound modules, each equipped with the same high-quality drivers as the LCR.
