I remember it being a pretty good film when it came out. A few years later... didn't hold up as well as many other films, kinda cheesy but I still like it. That said, am I looking forward to this sequel? Oh Yeah!

Well it turns out that Tom Cruise and the rest of the crew...never flew the planes, even though the reports are they did. A play on words by the press...Tom Cruise and the crew flew from the back seat only and were tasked with operating the cameras in the back seat. I would have been shocked if they would have let any of the crew actually operate the crew...not being in the Military. Paramount paid $15k per hour for the rides.
