The Oconee Theater

This represents "Theater Number 4.3" - and hopefully the last. Speakers are all Wisdom Line Source; Subs are Ascendo [32" + 4 18s]
Fantastic looking room, Chuck!

Are you using waveforming or what are your thoughts about it at this point?

Forgetting about the massive necessary physical changes [and attendant costs] to both the front and rear wall to properly place subs to be used in WF, I don't want to give up any of my current headroom. So I would need to spend another $20,000 or more just to use on the rear wall for comparable subs. Secondly, the seat to seat to seat consistency improvement of WF means nothing to me since I sit the the RSP and any one who visits the theater, regardless of where they sit, are blown away. I know at least 4 different people who have either experienced my room [or one similar] and WF and all prefer my room [or equivalent].

If I were starting from scratch and had unlimited funds, I would do WF + Infrasubs. But I don't so I won't

I totally get not wanting to touch that room. Love it!

Beautiful room! It's going to be featured in our newsletter this month!

Thank you. That is very kind of you. It is a multi-use space: Music, Movies and because it is so quiet & peaceful, a great place to study Scripture.

Thanks again.

I just saw this in the newsletter. Amazing theater!
Thank you.

I have given active consideration to replacing my existing 10 foot Seymour screen with a 12.5 foot version. BUT, to properly light up a screen that size would require a new PJ [LOTS more lumens - and LOTS more money] AND a hush box. I am in year 13 on that screen and it is the ONLY thing in that room that has been here that long except my Oppo BR Player.

I originally had a Masquerade masking system on your screen but thought I wouldn't be able to use it with my current speaker placement. HUGELY bad decision. It would have worked perfectly.
