The NT-507T is purpose-built to deliver bit-perfect audio streaming to external DACs, combining TEAC’s long-standing emphasis on signal integrity with the control and convenience of modern streaming platforms. Acting as the all-digital companion to the UD-507, it passes high-resolution streams through USB, supporting DSD up to 22.5 MHz and PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit. While developed to complement TEAC’s own DAC architecture, the NT-507T remains fully compatible with third-party USB DACs, expanding its appeal to a broad range of audio systems.
At the heart of the design is the TEAC Network Engine G4, a proprietary platform explicitly engineered for high-quality audio streaming. It’s paired with a large linear power supply that replaces conventional switching circuits, promoting low-noise operation and the kind of smooth, dynamic presentation often associated with analog playback. A toroidal-core transformer with four independent windings provides isolated power for the network, USB output, Wi-Fi, and LED display sections.
Connectivity is equally robust. The NT-507T features dual network interfaces, including Ethernet RJ45 and SFP optical ports, allowing users to isolate network noise through optical input if desired. It also supports Wi-Fi 6, giving users flexibility between wired and wireless setups. The dedicated USB Type-A output, driven by its own power section, ensures a clean digital signal path from transport to DAC.
In keeping with TEAC’s focus on usability, the NT-507T integrates with OpenHome-compatible control apps, including TEAC’s own HR Streamer. Its USB Volume Function allows for direct volume control of connected DACs from the app, simplifying operation in systems where a separate preamp may not be required. The NT-507T also supports major streaming services, including Qobuz, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, and TuneIn, as well as TIDAL Connect and Qobuz Connect for direct platform integration. A dedicated Roon Ready mode enables high-quality playback in multi-room and high-resolution environments.
Beyond network playback, the NT-507T functions as a compact music server, featuring two USB ports that support flash drives, HDDs, and SSDs. The chassis features a semi-floating 2.8 mm aluminum top panel and stressless isolation feet, both of which are engineered to suppress potentially intrusive vibrations.
Offered in silver or black, the NT-507T will be available in December 2025 through TEACUSA.com and select specialty audio dealers at an MSRP of $2,499.99.
