Streaming Box

Looking for the best streaming box. I will need one for Netflix since my OPPO 205 is on it's way. It will need to handle 4K and HDR as well.

I am currently looking at the Roku Ultra... anyone else using it or have any suggestions on something better?

I really liked my Dish Network Hopper w/Sling. Streaming Netflix was a breeze, just tune to ch.370. Streaming Pandora was also very easy and reliable. PS3 is still a pretty good media box but a bit spendy if that's all you want it for. But then neither support 4k.

We were using the Netflix via Dish as well until cable got ran to our home... now we do the IPTV with unlimited recording. I started using my OPPO for Netflix, but now with the new OPPO 205 coming, I will lose my Netflix, cause I ain't gonna keep two units in the room just for Netflix. The Roku Ultra is small and I can manage it okay, which by the way I went ahead an ordered via Amazon. That way if I don't like it... it goes right back.

To me, it is inexpensive enough, small enough, and works well enough that it is a no brainer. We have one now, and when we get a 4K set I will definitely get one for that set. Of all the streaming devices, it is probably the most useful.

Was just reading some comparative reviews on streaming boxes... sounds like Roku is the way to go.

I get Netflix by way of my Samsung JS9500 TV, Roku 4K and Apple TV.

Roku is the better way to go.

I really thought Dish Network did a great job of integrating Netflix and apps like Pandora. Now I have DirecTV,... if ya can't say something nice...

I have dish network. I like having Siriusxm and Netflix all in reach with a remote. I have the hopper 4k so it gets Netflix in 4k and on demand material in 4k. All my 5 Samsung tvs are 4k and get Netflix. I also use Vudu to stream my collection.

I have one of every version of the Roku except the Ultra. Been very happy with them, except the voice search function on the Roku 3 has never worked for me ONCE! (no way it could be operator error)

Integration like that is super nice.... Xfinitiy recently began offering Netflix as part of its OnDemand service. I'm also a big fan of having the apps buried right in the TV.
