Strange Volume Level Issue

Hello,

since i use linux i noticed my umik-1 reports way to low levels.... also i did a measurement recently of my new interface (Black Lion Audio 2x2 Revolution, from dac to adc) this is what it looks like (take a look at the scale)

do you guys have a clue what could be wrong with my setup? i use Debian Trixie (testing)

Did you check mixer controls? Do you run through alsa or pulseaudio/pipewire?

yes it was maxed out, im actually unsure if REW was using pipewire, i setup each alsa device seperately as input/output

the measurements looks ok, just the scale is off as it seems (-100dbfs should be 0db)

Oh wait.... alsa volume was low i think, i kinda expected REW will handle it... silly me

generator at -3,6db to avoid clipping, and mic input at 0db
