On my new HT, I have been working on my audio first with my video being last. In the past I usually did it all at once, and last night I noticed a difference in doing audio first when I was doing some serious listening. I noticed that when watching a 65" 4k FP display that the sound stage width, and height were the size I want, it just doesn't match the screen size at all (this was with my RP160Ms, and RP150Ms ). I had never thought about the height, and width of the soundstage having an effect like this on screen size, and I am not sure I would have noticed this if I had went screen size first, and then audio. I have at least a 19' wide soundstage, and at least a 8' high soundtage being projected. I am thinking when I get the k402s made the soundstage will maybe get even taller. Maybe I am noticing this more because of the large room dimensions?
Has anyone else had this experience?

Your room is way larger than mine... but I think you're probably noticing large room dimensions

If you have your speakers setup correctly, I'm not sure you would necessarily ever get your screen as large as your sound stage, as it could actually extend past the walls in a small room. It would obviously give you a sense of it being better with a larger screen. I have a 120" screen and I don't really notice it, although I know my sound stage is much wider than the screen when listening to musics. I don't notice it on movies because I am enveloped in the surround sound in most cases. If I had a smaller screen in there, I think I would feel like it would be too small.

Yeah I went from 195" 2.4 aspect to a 65" 16:9. I never really noticed it before... I guess because the screen was wall to wall. My screen is so small that the center channel covers it. Lol
My speakers are about 16' apart.
