Hi everyone
I'm trying to calibrate my soundcard
For a reason that i can't find, the curve of my Focusrite starts to go down at 40hz
in my windows control pannel : - the microphone of the soundcard is on 100%
- the output of the soundcard is on 100%
On my focusrite : - Direct monitor is desactivated
- line is on (and not inst)
The left output of my soundcard goes to my speaker
The right output of my soundcard goes in the input 1/L with a RCA to XLR for the loop( i will put my measure microphone on the input 1/L after the card calibration because i only got one XLR input )
On REW preferences :
OUTPUT speakers = L
INPUT = L/1
loopback output = R
loopback input = R
AND IN REALITY i succeeded to get this anormal curve with patching the "loopback" input on R but i just realise that i cannot work by this way because the loop shouldn't get an IN.
The think is that when i tried to measure the soundcard with the logic patch ( Time reference output : R / Loopback Input : L just like on my card ) the measure was clipping and i was getting a clipped curve.
Maybe should i try to fix the things on this way before to see about the anormal curve... that would probably disappear
does anyone have an idea about the source of my problem?? Maybe you already perceived it in my reasoning?
below, the screenshots of the curve and the rew parameters 1 and 2
Thanks by advance!!!
