(October 3, 2022) Long-time speaker manufacturer Memphis Audio used CEDIA 2022 as a platform to soft launch its latest division: SixFive Series Audio. Best known for manufacturing competitively priced, high-performance speakers for boats and automobiles, this is Memphis Audio's first foray into the home/architectural audio world.

SIXFIVE Audio currently offers two tiers of products. The premium V-Series line of speakers boasts the latest technology and the best materials available. The M-Series speakers, geared toward performance, pack all the impressive features needed to deliver an excellent listening experience in a more scaled-down package. The V and M Series share SIXFIVE’s TurboMount TechnologyTM, the fastest and easiest mounting system on the market. With the flip of a switch, the doglegs automatically deploy and adjust themselves to the depth of the mounting surface in a single rapid motion, saving time, money, and frustration during installation.
In addition to in-wall speakers, SIXFIVE Audio also offers two tiers of subwoofers that carry the same familial branding as the speakers. V-Series subwoofers are powered enclosures with a sealed design and a small footprint to provide impressive bass in any environment. The M-Series is a performance-powered subwoofer enclosure with a large port. M-Series subwoofers add an element of fun to their design with a selectable (on/off) blue-led illuminated subwoofer and down-firing ground lighting effects to set the mood in any listening environment.
The company hopes to begin shipping models early next year, and will likely take advantage of its established connections with distributors and e-retailers to get products to customers quickly and efficiently.
