Should I try and go further?

Hi,

I'm using 2 subs and a MiniDSP 2x4HD, using some tutorials online I've managed to get my subs to where they are in the attached file.

The subs can't be moved from where they are and I was wondering if someone could confirm how good or bad the reading are.

Thanks in advance

Looks good. There is some background noise at around 64 Hz but otherwise a good result.

Thank you John.

What should I look at as regards background noise?

My room over looks a busy road, would it be worth my while doing readings and adjustments late at night when there's virtually no traffic?

Thanks

Quieter times are better for measurements, but I wouldn't worry too much about it, usually fairly obvious what is noise and what isn't. I'm assuming you don't have a big boost filter at 64 Hz, mind.

Actually, now that you mention I think I did boost at 64 Hz...

This is all still pretty much new ground to me, would it be best to drop that or maybe boost a little less?

Unless you are tackling a broad, shallow depression there aren't many occasions where boosting is beneficial. If you were trying to deal with a narrow dip it is pretty much always detrimental.
