Setting maximum number of eq settings

how do you set the maximum number of eq filters for correction, my eq for my plugins have a 8 to 10 maximum eq filters I can adjust. I think I saw a YouTube video that I can hard set how many filters I can use.

Use the checkboxes next to each filter, any which are not selected will not be used.
