Hello everybody.
I am a new REW user. I've been reading the forum for a long time, and I've finally signed up and I have a little problem.
I have a Yamaha A2080 receiver and 5.1 system, and I bought the UMIK-1 microphone and used it with REW.
When I take measurements and use REW's automatic EQ (Mach response to Target) and set GENERIC as equalizer, the program gives me 12 frequencies to modify (for example, other times it is 10)
But the Yamaha receiver only allows me to modify 7 frequencies per speaker.

Is there any way to configure REW so that the result of its "Match response your target" is only 7 frequencies?

Another problem is that the A2080 only allows me to modify 7 frequencies, and not any of them, it has 29 fixed frequencies memorized of which you have to choose 7 to modify them

The 29 preset frequencies are these:
31.3 Hz, 39.4 Hz ,49.6 Hz, 62.5 Hz, 78.7 Hz, 99.2 Hz, 125 Hz, 157.5 Hz 198.4 Hz, 250 Hz, 315 Hz, 396.9 Hz, 500 Hz, 630 Hz, 793.7 Hz, 1 KHz, 1.26 KHz, 1.59 KHz, 2 KHz, 2.52 KHz, 3.17 KHz,
3.17 KHz, 4 KHz, 5.04 KHz , 6.35 KHz , 8 KHz , 10.1 KHz, 12.7 KHz y 16 KHz

Thanks and best regards

With an EQ of that sort you are probably best making manual adjustments while playing the full range Pink Periodic Noise test signal and watching the response on the RTA set to 1/48 octave.

Thanks John, I'll try to see if I can do it.

Thank you.
