I am trying to measure the Thiele Small parameters for an old sub I have in order to make a new box for it.
I am using the added weight method.
When I run the calculator I get 2 errors:
Error 1.png

After clicking ok I get this:
Error 2.png

This is the "incorrect" result after clicking ok:

I've attached the mdat file of the measurements

Thanks

Those are not valid impedance measurements, there is probably something wrong in the jig setup.

Here is the jig info I used:

And this is how it measures as built:

Headset connections on a laptop generally have stereo outputs for headphones and a mono input for the mic, which won't work as impedance measurement requires a stereo input.

I left the laptop in the picture to show which jack is plugged into which port.
The only difference from the plan I can think of is that I just connected the tip of the mono plug and the center of the stereo plug with a jumper, instead of running a second wire from the resister.

Don't use that diagram, there is a diagram in the help. For the Xonar you would use the Front/headphone out (which is a stereo jack, so use a stereo plug even though you only connect to one of the output channels) and the line in.

Just to be sure I understand,
speaker negative is connected to the ground on both plugs
speaker positive is directly connected to right on the input plug
speaker positive is connected through the resister to right on the output plug and left on the input plug
