REW Sine wave generator THD

Hi,

What distortion could I expect using REW’s sine wave generator?
I have a laptop with a low budget built-in soundcard and a Steinberg UR242 external soundcard.
I now use a Velleman function generator, but it’s distortion (THD) is above 0.1%, spoiling my measurements.

There is no distortion in the generator (unless you select the option to add some), the limiting factor is the audio interface you use for playback. The UR242 spec states line output THD+N 0.005 % at 1 kHz, -1 dBFS, with a 22 Hz - 22 kHz BPF.
