REW room measurement

Hi guys,

Wondering if I could get some help with this. Not getting the room measurement I was expecting (Also, first time using REW). Tried multiple times with same result.

Outline
Setup: Mac mini / Apollo twin / XREF 20 calibration mic
Blue: Soundcard sweep
Red: Measurement microphone sweep

1. Tried without calibration files – similar result
2. Checked measurement microphone in DAW – working fine
3. No smoothing applied
4. After I calibrate the SPL the measurement microphone level is still pretty low. I have to boost the gain quite a bit. Not sure if this any indication of something.

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Did you try attaching an mdat file or image of your measurements? Not seeing that.

SPL calibration just affects the graph plotting, it doesn't alter any input levels.

Soundcard cal looks fine, though the SPL axis is zoomed a long, long way out. You can set a more sensible range using the Limits button at the top right of the graph.

From the connections shot it looks like your mic may be connected to channel 2 rather than channel 1, but you have selected channel 1 as the input. I'm guessing that's the loopback, though it looks like the end of the capture was missed.
