REW on Mac with M1 chip

I still can not get this to work properly. If I use the defaults on the midi (Center = 3 and LFE = 4) then the center actually comes out of 4 and the LFE comes out of 3. So then I change them in the midi so the 4 = center and 3 = LFE and then midi works properly. But regardless of how I set up midi (C = 3 and LFE = 4 OR C = 4 and LFE = 3), REW gets it wrong (C = LFE and LFE = C), even after I quit REW and restarted. That is, if I select (in generator) to get a signal from the center channel, it comes from the LFE channel and vice-versa.

So what am I not doing properly?

You can set the output channel mapping in the REW soundcard preferences.
