Helllo , when I enter into preferences under soundcard, I want to change output device to my marantz sr6012. The only option in the drop down is default device, primary sound driver, speaker (minidsp 2x4hd) , or speaker (2 high definition audio device) . No Option for my marantz. I've unplug/ plug back in, try different hdmi ports, shutdown and restarted with no luck.
Any idea on how to get rew to Recognize my receiver

You might need to enter the Windows Sound Settings > Sound Control Panel > Playback, select the HDMI AVR input (be sure it is enabled), set as default Playback device, and set it up for surround (R-click on it, follow the prompts)
