REW EQ Export for 5 Bands

Dear REW community,

I have measured my sound system and created generic EQ data with the REW EQ. I use an RME ADI-2 DAC as external DAC/sound card, which has a versatile 5-band EQ integrated.

The "generic" EQ export from REW exports data for 10 bands. It is difficult for me to map this 10-band data to my 5-band EQ. Is it possible to set REW to generate generic EQ data for a 5-band EQ?
The Export can be a simple text file with frequency, gain and Q.

On the EQ filters panel only select as many filters as you want REW to use.

Dear John,

I have to reopen the thread. Is it possible to set the capabilities of a filter with the EQ section? E.g. my 5-band EQ (RME ADI-2 DAC) provides a possible gain from -12 to +12 dB. The calculation of REW sets gains up to 15 or more db. It would be great to set the limititations of the EQ somewhere.

No, beyond seeing if there's an existing equaliser option with the desired limits. A configurable equaliser is on the todo list.
