REW doesn't complete installation on M1 Max Mac Studio

been trying to get REW to fully install on my Mac Studio, but haven't had any luck.
I've downloaded it, run the installer app, and it goes through the whole loading bar part, but when that completes, it doesn't open the next part, and there isn't a new application installed on the system. I also tried doing it view the command line, but it had the same result.

Try turning off dark mode to run the installer, or use the V5.20.14 early access build.
