REW does not see my UAD Apollo Twin Input

My mac see's the Twin, Logic Pro see's the Twin and its input and output. Mic works fine, I see level.
REW sees the apollo twin audio interface in it's settings and can play pink noise through the Twin just fine but it will not see any input. Even though everyone else sees the input levels.
REW gives me and input level of -435 dB and I see or hear nothing.
I tried update to the latest beta and that didn't change anything.
Both REW and the Town are set at 48k
I changed the XLR cable.
I'm at a lost.

Check REW's mic access permission in the Privacy settings.

Do you mean under microphone? It's enabled.

-435 dB means the incoming data is all zero. That happens if an app doesn't have mc permissions (it gets sent zeroes instead) but can also happen if the interface is configured to mute the input data or to select an input that has no data coming in. How does the Apollo appear in the Mac's Audio Midi Setup utility?
