I’m relatively new to REW and am trying to do scans via multi-channel with HDMI. I have a UMIK-1 mic. I’m using windows 10 via USB-C to HDMI input on Yamaha RX-A8A. I’m also using FLEXASIO drivers. I’m setting up according to the HDMI app note found miniDSP and roomeq website.

Problem is when I try to do a sweep of each speaker the oututp I select (0-8) the sweep always goes to all channels, not individual speaker.

Any ideas?

Only the receiver can send a signal to all channels so you need a different processing mode, the manual should say what to use for multi-channel linear PCM on an HDMI input.

Hello John, thanks for the reply. The Yamaha RX should be receiving a multichannel PCM signal via the HDMi interface but I don’t think it is. Perhaps I have to configure the HDMI output of PC ( in this case USB-C)
