Restore measurements possible?

Hi, I have this rather important .mdat file from 2022 which the file size is over 200mb but now when I open it, there are only 6 measurements in there. I am not sure how it happened but it probably got overwritten at some point. And now if I save it as a new file, the size reduces to ~20 mb. This gives me faint hope that maybe there are some measurements hidden or marked as deleted and may possibly be restored?

There are only 6 valid measurements in that file. Older REW versions could fail to trim files when they were overwritten, but the excess data is not useable. Windows might have a version history for the file (right click on it and choose Restore previous versions).
