Proper mic placement for measurement

Should the mic be in my listening position from where I sit with the mic tip end between my woofer and tweeter or should it be leveled with the tweeter since I was told that my ears should be at level with the tweeter

also when doing left and right spl do others also measure the left and right channels for correction. If so do you leave the mic in the Center in the listening position just only solo each speaker for measurement

Mic where your head usually is. Measure left and right separately, leaving the mic in the same position. Point the mic between the speakers if using a 0 degree cal file, or straight up if using a 90 degree cal file.
