(November 26, 2023) Premium Audio Company has announced the immediate return of Rob Vieira to a new role as Senior Director of AVR Brands, Category Ownership, and Integrated Electronics for all brands. While this move will fly under the radar for the vast majority of consumers and home theater enthusiasts, its significance can't be overstated. Vieira, one of several key architects behind the revival of Onkyo, Integra, Pioneer, and Elite AVRs, left Premium Audio Company earlier this year, leading to questions about the future direction and viability of all four brands. His return is great news and bodes well for the support and growth of said brands as we move into 2024 and beyond.
According to Premium Audio Company, Vieira's new role will have him leading multiple PAC brands worldwide regarding past, current, and future product development across all channels for electronics brands. He'll be tasked with developing roadmaps, functions, and technical specifications while taking new products from concept to production, conducting key account meetings and training sessions, and serving as a press and event spokesperson.
