Fireplace mantels are always tough. I like you're approach of limiting TV size to make room for the center. Weaknesses? Well, the glass tables will reflect high frequencies, disrupting imaging. I would cover them with a thick blanket during serious listening. The other drawback I see is that the front stage is unsymmetrical - the right speaker is further out than the left. I think this will be a bigger detriment to SQ than the tables. Can you move the right speaker closer to the TV?

Nice setup!!!

You and I share an appreciation for the RTiA series... when setup right, they deliver great bang for the buck!

You are correct on the positioning of the front speaker, however I have them so far out as the length of the seating area. Otherwise the seating on the right would be outside the audio zone. The issue becomes the fact that the tv is not center on the wall. Compromises, compromises.

You might need to configure your seating different in order to balance the positioning of those speakers...

I like their crisp sound. They're a relatively forgiving speaker, too. Nice gear!
