(March 4, 2024) Beginning this Thursday, March 7, the Klipsch Museum of Audio History in Hope, Arkansas will host its third annual Paul W. Klipsch Birthday Bash, a three-day event full of food, education, community, and music. This year, live performances are anchored by Dave Almond and The Moss Brothers, which are scheduled to play on back-to-back nights.

An All-Event Pass costs $175 and gives the pass holder access to the entire bash, including the Annual Membership Meeting hosted on the evening of day one. While a $25 Early Bird discount is no longer available, Museum members can still take advantage of $100 tickets. To buy a membership, click here, register, and within 48 hours, your ability to buy discounted tickets will be unlocked.

All ticket purchases can be made using the QR codes below, with passes and concert tickets available for pickup at the Klipsch Museum Visitors Center "Will Call" window. You must check in on Thursday or Friday at the Visitors Center to access the Chief Bonehead class.

Chief Bonehead, you ask? That would be Senior Acoustic Engineer Roy Delgado, who's spent nearly four decades working for Klipsch. He's scheduled to host a class on Saturday, March 9, discussing digital signal processing, the advantages it offers fully horn-loaded speakers, and, perhaps, new LaScalas speakers!

Here's a full breakdown of the schedule and events:
  • Thursday March 7: Visitors Center check-in is at 6 pm. The Annual Membership Meeting starts at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
  • Friday March 8: Visitors Center activities begin at 12pm. Klipsch Museum of Audio History tours from 2 until 4 pm. Return to the Klipsch Visitors Center at 6 pm for Bonehead Fajitas, followed by the Dave Almond concert at 7:30 pm.
  • Saturday March 9: The Klipsch Factory Audio Lab hosts a Chief Bonehead Class from 10 am to 5 pm. We will be discussing digital signal processing and the advantages it offers to fully horn-loaded speakers. Return to the Klipsch Visitors Center at 6 pm for BBQ and The Moss Brothers concert.

Yeah, this would be a fun event to go to, but I'm not travelling several hours to do it. I have a soft spot for Klipsch.

This b-bash looks great! :bigsmile:My mom and I would love to attend something like this as Klipsch has been in our family since the 60s. I've attached an image of me and my mom in my parent's apartment or rental house during their graduate school years at Duke, around 1968. One of the Klipschorns in the background. My mom says the console TV was in the middle for the HT.

That's a great pic! Wonder if that Klipschorn is still kicking around somewhere " off the neighbors". Hahaha

After his death, they were given to my other family members that had an interest. He upgraded from them many times over until his death. My 82-year-old mom utilizes a much more manageable Kef in her HT now. Cheers, |||K
