Passive Radiator T/S Parameters

Hey All,

First post here and glad to have found the community.
Working on a little speaker design and picked up a variety of passive radiators from Parts Express as well as Ebay
The ebay ones are - of course - of Chinese origin and do not come with any parameters.
I remember watching a YouTube video at one time (I think it was Hexibase) - where he did a demonstration on how to obtain some parameters but for the life of me, I cannot find that vid anymore?
Anyone know the vid or a similar one - or even a good writeup on obtaining these parameters from passives?

I'm not familiar with it and our DIY base here is on the lighter side, unfortunately.

Hey thanks for the reply Sonnie.
I will keep researching this and if I come across the intel, I will follow-up on the post with the information. Might be valuable to someone other than me down the road. Its a bit frustrating that these manufacturers do not provide the necessary data for the parts they make.

I have used many of the Boston Acoustics versions. They are superior products. The mounting hardware that they come with is sadly junk. Unfortunately I don't believe that they are in production anymore. Have found the last few on ebay or the Boston Acoustics website under new old stock.

Hi, I have a similar problem - I am converting my KRK Rokit 8 powered speakers to passive and there is no parameter data available. Ideally, I would like to start with the parameter creation, build crossovers and move on from there.
Otherwise, I am just going to do a quick and dirty and grind my way through.
Have you found a help file or video that worked for you?
