(April 8, 2026) Paradigm is using AXPONA 2026 as the stage for a major update to one of its more wallet-friendly speaker lines. The new Premier Series v2 arrives as a complete redesign, aimed at pushing performance further while keeping the lineup positioned squarely between entry-level systems and the company’s higher-end offerings.

This isn’t a light refresh. Paradigm is positioning the Premier Series v2 as a new benchmark in its class, built on the idea that performance should define value, not the other way around. That philosophy runs throughout the lineup, with design choices that pull directly from the company’s flagship development work, adapted into a more accessible platform.

At the core of the series is a collection of refreshed driver technologies. High frequencies are handled by Paradigm’s AL-MAC driver, a blend of aluminum, magnesium, and ceramic designed to remain rigid while minimizing resonance. The midrange uses AL-MAG construction, combining aluminum and magnesium to maintain speed and accuracy through the critical vocal range. Bass duties fall to Carbon-X unibody drivers, built as single-piece cones to improve strength while reducing mass, helping deliver deeper, more controlled low-end performance even at higher output levels.

Dispersion and timing are equally important pieces of the equation. Paradigm integrates its Perforated Phase-Aligning lens with an Oblate Spherical Waveguide to better control how sound leaves the speaker and interacts with the room. The goal is a more cohesive presentation, where frequencies arrive together and maintain balance across a wider listening area, not just in a single sweet spot.

Cabinet design supports that effort. Each enclosure is constructed from internally braced MDF and engineered to remain acoustically inert, reducing unwanted resonance and coloration. Floorstanding models go a step further with an outrigger shock-mount isolation system that decouples the speaker from the floor, limiting vibration transfer and tightening bass response across different surfaces.

The lineup is broad, covering both stereo and home theater use. Bookshelf models like the 120B v2 and 220B v2 serve as compact entry points, while the 720F v2 and 820F v2 floorstanders bring greater scale and output for larger rooms. For theater applications, Paradigm includes the 520LCR v2, designed for both horizontal and vertical orientations, and the 620C v2 center channel, which incorporates a multi-driver array supported by dual passive radiators.

There’s also a clear emphasis on finish and presentation. The Premier Series v2 is available in Piano Black, Walnut, Black Walnut, and Satin White, with aluminum and stainless steel accents that give the speakers a more refined, modern look. It’s a design approach that reflects how these speakers are expected to live in real rooms, not just dedicated listening spaces.

Paradigm will showcase the Premier Series v2 at AXPONA 2026, with demonstrations scheduled throughout the event. The lineup is expected to begin shipping in June 2026, with pricing starting at $399.99 each for the 120B v2 and reaching $1,299.99 each for the flagship 820F v2.
