Outdoor Theater Viewing

Now that it is summer, there are a lot of venues, where you can go to a public park or open field and the local municipality or some company (radio station, etc.) will sponsor an outdoor venue for movie watching..

Question.

Do you like to go to these outdoor venue's to watch a movie or no, just prefer to enjoy at home?

At 10PM last night it was still 85F here in Alabama last night... so there is no way I would sit out in that heat and sweat my way thru a movie.

I never have been much on going to any venue to watch a movie or event, and that include football games, etc. I would much prefer to sit in the own comfort of my home, in my recliner, not have to worry about hundreds or thousands of others talking on their cell phone, kneeing me in the back, having to use nasty restrooms, paying $20 for a coke and box of popcorn, on top of paying for the movie or event. Not to forget my theater sounds at least twice as good as anything I've ever heard anywhere. It just doesn't make sense for me to do it..

Yeah, I never was into outdoor movie watching. I have been to football, basketball, and baseball games outdoors (granted they were all indoor stadiums with AC going full blast).. lol.

It is hard enough going to an indoor theater and dealing with people on the phone, etc., I can't imagine how it will be in a true outdoor venue (open field with a gigantic screen) with hundreds/thousands of people moving around..
