Oscars 2023

Everything Everywhere All at Once ran away with the show last night capturing 7 awards including best picture, best director and best actress. All Quiet on The Western Front grabbed 4 awards while The Whale snagged a couple. I haven't seen a lot of the films this year yet.

I've got AQoTWF queued up to watch this week. The rest I'm waiting for them to come out on disc.

I read the 1929 book "All Quiet on The Western Front" by Erich Paul Remark when I was in high school and we saw the black and white movie which was made in 1930 and by the way, won the best production for the 1929-1930 Oscars that year. Highly recommend it, well worth watching the movie as well as reading the book.

I will have to see the 2022 update to see the differences.

I will have to check out "Everything Everywhere All at Once" as well.
