Tonight we watched a bluray movie, and everything looked great as usual. I popped in Enders Game 4k version(which we have watched several times before with no problem), and when it fired up the screen was 90% green. I ejected it, and reinstated it, and the same thing popped up after the little black logo, so I went to the main menu, and switched some of the HDR settings, and tried again, and it was fine again. I thought it had skipped a chapter (I was wrong), so I ejected it again, and bam the green problem popped up again. I checked the settings, and They were right where I had set them, so I returned them to auto, and lvl1. I tried again and the movie played fine. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Never seen it before here. Seems odd that it was okay and now is giving you problems. I would reach out to OPPO for assistance... perhaps they know something on the issue.

The only thing I know is we had a power outage yesterday(possibly multiples since I now have a problem with 2 drives on my NAS too, and it is hooked up to a UPS), but the device was off, and when we watched the bluray it was after the outage. I will contact them after our move this week.

It's possible it could be something with the projector and/or the HDMI cable.

Could be, but I just bought new cables when my monoprice cables started to act up when we moved to Mexico, and why would it play fine until I ejected a bluray, and inserted a 4k disc? Our display currently is a Samsung 65" 4k tv, as we have not purchased a new projector yet. I hope to get one this fall.

I'm thinking this is a cable issue... do you have a spare to swap in?

I will swap it out next time it happens.I know I pulled the 3' cable out, swapped it with another device, and reinserted it. The only one I did not swap out was the 6' to the tv. I still have 1 6' in the box I believe, and will try that if it happens again. Cables are only like 2 months old too. Pain to return with Amazon since i have to pay 17% duty again for a replacement if it is bad. Just went through that on 2 keyboards that failed, and now I have a 3rd on the way. I wish HDMI cables were like RCA cables, and not be so finicky, and failure prone. ☹

Your issue sounds similar to something I experienced with 4k from a 203... was the cable. Hopefully that will be the same for you! ;-)

Cable issues can certainly be intermittent... been there and done that as well. Worth a swap to see.
