Just finished setting up my new home theater room in the basement budget system. and did my first readings with REW, i wanted to get some feedback on how this looks. Been doing some reading and trying to get the most out of my system.
Thoughts on what i should do?
Setup: Yamaha 7850
Mains - Klispch R51
Rear - Klispch R41
Sub - Dayton 1500

Looks pretty good! The sub seems really weak though. I would think it should get down to 30-40 Hz before rolling out, not 60 Hz.

If its sounds good, nothing. Just start watching movies :) .
Otherwise, you would need to provide a lot more detail of what is shown, where the mic is, what was measured (both channels at LP?), layout of setup (pics?), etc. etc.
That bass looks awfully smooth for a single sub/2 bookshelf setup at a far enough distance for that sort of slope.

cheers

it seems to sound pretty good to me. but I’m coming from sound bar systems so my not be the best comparison. The bass isn’t as strong as I anticipated but for the $ i have in the system it definitely better than the sound bar.

it’s a relatively small room at 8x15. Normal drywall construction 8 foot ceiling. LVP flooring with a rug covering most of the space. Only thing unique is I did build recessed “cubbie Holes” for the TV, front and center speakers. So I guess the recessed areas for the speakers could be helping the low end of the bookshelf speakers. I did move the sub all around the room to find a place that didn’t have a large peak in the 60hhz area. The mic was located at the center watching position at ear level (umik-1).

Thanks, but would still need layout, speakers on short/long wall? Sofa/mic where relative to speakers? Did you run YPAO?
You might try individual sweeps of L, R no sub, then just sub
