Hopefully a vaccine will show up soon. :)

from chron,

"An unidentified NHL player has tested positive for the new coronavirus.

The Ottawa Senators announced late Tuesday night one of their players has tested positive for COVID-19, has mild symptoms and is in isolation.

Ottawa is notifying those who came in contact with the player and have told other members of the team to monitor their health and seek advice from the medical staff."

Well this thing is much worse than what we've seen reported. I would guess by a factor of 20 or more. And that's not NHL related, just overall US related.

Just remember, a lot of people have this virus before the symptoms come up and while they have it, unknown to them, they are spreading it.

That is why, the numbers now are very very low when in reality, they are multiple and as the government officials say, it will only get worse before it will get better.

Essentially, this thing is a silent virus that is spreading at a very high rate.. just takes time to show up but don't worry, it will show up eventually and the true numbers will come out..

And just to add, the whole point of self isolation, staying away from public, etc is not to stop the virus but to stop the spread of the virus and not to overwhelm the health officials (hospitals, etc.)

see video..

Yup I work at a hospital. We are suppose to check our temperature every day and if you feel sick or have 100.4 temp we have to stay home. We do not allow visitors anymore except the patients parents and we closed off the main entrance and use only the ED entrance to check everyone's temperature coming in that way we have control. Have fever Adios!! We also removed the furniture inside our Starbucks so it can be used like a drive thru, get your coffee and go. We have closed off some of the cafeteria area to lessen the crowd. Sure we may have people with the virus that currently have no fever or symptoms but we can at least try to minimize it to help lessen the spread.

Wash hands people and stay indoors as much as possible and do social distancing if you have to go outside. :)

Real bummer not having hockey to watch and most likely no playoff hockey. It’s just crazy how quickly this hit and the impact to our every day life. This is definitely a humbling experience. I hope everyone stays safe and this will soon be just a bad memory. Best to everyone.
