The new bookcases finally showed up. These were a special order from DutchCrafters to match an existing piece we have from them. I had them custom made to my spec. Same ht as the existing bookcase but narrower and deeper. Basically, A/V equip size. 72"Hx24"Wx16"D. I think they turned out great. Expensive at $2700 ea but worth the 3 month wait. These are solid wood (you chose) Walnut and stained to the wife's choice. They match the biamped KEF R11 Meta's perfectly and the wife is happy. I cut out the backing where the A/V equipment will go and left it on the rest.
So far I only have it roughed-in. I have the Furman Elite and the Sony 8000 in place. Still waiting for the NAD C298's and the Anthem AVM 70 to show up. Happily, I was able to squeeze the SVS PB-4000 into the corner so again, the wife is happy. She DID NOT like the "big black box thing" in her living room!
