Super MWM with Klipsch K402 horns 1132 drivers
Came here for the latest REW and will check it out further as time permits. Working on building a variant of the Klipsch MWM bass bin that will go down to about 27hz and have a set of 402 horns to go on top. Xilica in hand and then of course I have to dial it all in which brought me here to get REW.
Above and beyond this I am also making a line of direct dropin replacement tweeters for Klipsch mainly the K-77 and K-79,76 size lenses. Like to buy and fix old speakers and make new parts to go in them and who knows where I will end up. Love audio and tinkering with it on the speaker end.

Welcome Dave, great to have another enthusiast on board! It would be great if you would start a build thread for your speakers with lots of pictures. We love pictures!

Should I continue this topic here or move to a build thread when I get going?

OK but it will be a few days. The cabinets are going to weigh about 328 pounds each and my forklift needs to get back from the mechanics before I can go further. My first set of speaker cabinets and it is a variation of the MCM 1900 MWM bin. Tried the Festool track saw out on this and they are pretty accurate and a lot easier to use on 60" x 60" x 1" Baltic Birch than a table saw would be. So far I have a big pile of cut pieces and that is it.

In the mean time here are some of the tweeters I build. I machine these on a Haas VF4.

Definitely start a new thread with a new title. That will make it easier for us and everybody to find it. Great pics also. Looking like you do some serious crafting! Can’t wait to see your progress, keep the pics coming!

OK should have some progress by next week to talk about.

Great to have you here Dave!

Hi Dave! It's great to have you on the forums! Nice work with your current speaker project. Did you also craft the wooden tweeter horn caps yourself? They're exquisite!

Looking forward to checking out that build thread... should be interesting. Glad to have you with us. :T
