"Netflix is raising prices across all of its plans in the US today. The company’s standard plan will rise to $15.50 per month from $14, while the 4K plan will rise to $20 per month from $18. The basic plan, which doesn’t include HD, is also rising to $10 per month from $9. Prices are rising in Canada as well. "

How much (real) 4k new content do they really offer every month? And how about offering 1 or 2 screens with (real) 4k? Amazon Prime and/or Red Box is looking better and better...

A 10.7% increase. What, having a hard time sourcing electrons due to supply chain issues? :)

I shut Netflix off after a couple of lean months for new content. Going to try and keep it to one active subscription (in addition to prime) at a time. Tap out what’s good then move along. Come back around when there’s something new and compelling.

I am thinking of canceling Netflix as well. Most of their new content is subpar compared to other streaming services. They definitely seem to place an emphasis of quantity over quality.

I am still trying to figure out what they do to their content now that I have a 4k UST PJ... Is Netflix the Tidal/MQA of Video???

Like why does the screen count go up with the video quality tier? Like I watch on multiple devices at same time just because the video quality is better?:woohoo:Naw it’s just to screw you out of more money.

Ya, I gotta turn of Netflix. $20 a month is a rip off. Like honestly who pays $10 a month for 720 video quality. I think they gonna pay for this move…they pushed the cost too far..
A realistic price would be $10 for 1 stream 4k. I mean if they want to be competitive…then again they basically drove there disc service into the ground when Redbox started competing…maybe that’s the way they heading with Netflix streaming :dontknow:
