Watched this over the last couple of days. The cinematography is fantastic and hands down, one of the best westerns in many years, movie, TV series or miniseries.

I binged that one the day after Thanksgiving (while working on computer stuff, of course). Agree, it was very well done, and I don't generally go for westerns, or "historical documentaries," as my dad used to call them.

A couple of cliches in the writing brought it down from a 10 to a 9.5 in my opinion (no spoilers pending), but I still enjoyed it a lot.

I love westerns so sounds like this has to go on my short list.

It's still basically the same old revenge western with a couple of side stories that make this western a bit different than most. Personally think if they would have explored those two side stories it would have been better for the story line. The look of this miniseries is something else. Well worth going on your short list, especially if you love westerns.
