(November 5, 2025) NAD Electronics says its C 700 and C 700 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifiers are now certified for Dirac Live Room Correction, bringing advanced digital calibration and high-precision tuning to the company’s popular compact amps. The certification confirms that both models meet Dirac’s technical standards, unlocking access to one of the most respected room correction systems in high-end audio.

Dirac Live uses patented algorithms to analyze how sound interacts with the unique acoustic properties of a listening space, then applies corrective filters to improve imaging, tighten bass, and balance tonal response. The result is meant to deliver sound reproduction that more closely matches the artist’s intent, often with polished clarity and control of much larger and more complex systems.

“Dirac Live Room Correction further strengthens the C 700 and C 700 V2’s position as category leaders for stereo streaming amplifiers,” said Cas Oostvogel, NAD Product Manager. “By enabling this leading technology, we’re offering listeners a significant upgrade in audio fidelity and room tuning flexibility—further proof of NAD’s commitment to delivering high-end performance in an elegant, user-friendly package.”

Introduced in 2021, the C 700 was designed as a modern, compact amplifier built for the streaming era. Its aluminum chassis and high-resolution color display present an understated aesthetic that pairs with NAD’s HybridDigital UcD amplifier, rated at 2 x 80 watts of continuous power. The amplifier’s integrated BluOS platform supports Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, and other major streaming services, making it a complete streaming hub in a compact form factor.

The C 700 V2, launched in 2024, expands on that foundation with several key upgrades. Alongside Dirac Live compatibility, it features an ESS SABRE DAC, a refined circuit layout for improved soundstage and detail, and a phono input for vinyl playback. The V2 also supports BluOS surround sound, allowing owners to configure immersive playback within a minimalist two-channel system.

Owners can purchase a full Dirac Live license to perform advanced calibration through a compatible microphone and software suite, tailoring playback to their specific room.
