Dirac Live uses patented algorithms to analyze how sound interacts with the unique acoustic properties of a listening space, then applies corrective filters to improve imaging, tighten bass, and balance tonal response. Introduced in 2021, the C 700 was designed as a modern, compact amplifier built for the streaming era. Its aluminum chassis and high-resolution color display present an understated aesthetic that pairs with NAD’s HybridDigital UcD amplifier, rated at 2 x 80 watts of continuous power. The amplifier’s integrated BluOS platform supports Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, and other major streaming services, making it a complete streaming hub in a compact form factor.
The C 700 V2, launched in 2024, expands on that foundation with several key upgrades. Alongside Dirac Live compatibility, it features an ESS SABRE DAC, a refined circuit layout for improved soundstage and detail, and a phono input for vinyl playback. The V2 also supports BluOS surround sound, allowing owners to configure immersive playback within a minimalist two-channel system.
Owners can purchase a full Dirac Live license to perform advanced calibration through a compatible microphone and software suite, tailoring playback to their specific room.
