(January 29, 2026) NAD Electronics has officially set shipping dates for its Modular Series, marking the next phase in the rollout of one of the company’s most installation-focused product platforms to date. First unveiled at ISE 2025, the Modular Series was designed from the ground up to address the growing demand for scalable, space-efficient, and network-integrated audio solutions for modern residential and light-commercial projects. With the first unit now shipping and two more following close behind, NAD’s modular concept is actively moving from concept to real-world deployment.

The Modular Series is built around a compact 1/3-width, 1U-height form factor, allowing up to three units to be combined side by side in a single rack space. This approach gives integrators flexibility to mix and match amplification and streaming components based on project size, zone count, and performance requirements. All three products are part of the BluOS ecosystem, enabling high-resolution multi-room streaming, centralized control, and integration with popular automation platforms.

The first product hit the streets is the CI PA4-60, a four-channel power amplifier designed to deliver efficient, scalable amplification for distributed audio and multi-room systems. Built around NAD’s DirectDigital amplification platform, the PA4-60 is engineered to maintain consistent performance across long cable runs and varying speaker loads. Its compact chassis and modular mounting system allow it to be stacked cleanly with other Modular Series components, making it well-suited for rack-based installations where space efficiency and thermal management are critical.

In March, the NAD CI SA2-120 BluOS Streaming Amplifier will be let loose. It combines multi-channel amplification with built-in network streaming. Designed to operate as either a high-powered two-channel amplifier or a four-channel distributed solution, the SA2-120 integrates BluOS directly into the hardware, eliminating the need for a separate streamer. With HDMI eARC, wireless connectivity options, and Dirac Live readiness, integrators have a flexible platform that can serve both television-centric media spaces and dedicated listening zones. The unit also supports a Main Zone and Sub Zone configuration, allowing mirrored playback with independent volume control in adjacent spaces.

Rounding out the lineup is the newly renamed NAD CI S2 Music Streamer, formerly the S1 Single Zone Streamer. Ahead of launch, NAD expanded the platform’s capabilities, upgrading it from a single BluOS zone to two independent BluOS zones. This change allows each stereo output to operate independently, playing different sources with separate volume control. Scheduled to ship in April, the S2 is meant to serve as a compact network streaming hub for projects that require flexible source distribution without additional amplification hardware.

NAD is set to showcase the Modular Series at ISE 2026 in Booth 2E130, where attendees can see the platform in action and explore how the modular architecture fits into modern custom installation workflows.
