...and I'm an addict.

Just kidding, sorta. I had a friend in college who once played me the LaserDisc of The Blues Brothers on his Dolby Pro Logic setup and it blew my mind. At that point I started building my first surround system. Then, one day I saw a copy of Audio/Video Interiors while waiting in the checkout line at the grocery store, and things went to a different level. Speaking of, who else wishes they would bring that magazine back?

Fast forward too many years of apartments and rentals to my current home, where I finally had space for a dedicated theater. Moved in in '10, started the theater build in '11, and it's been constantly, gradually improving ever since.

So, addict? Well, I've never been homeless because I spent too much on speakers, but I'm also drawing up plans for a second story on my garage for my new, much larger theater space....so.....perhaps a touch of the upgraditis. ;)

I think you qualify as an addict... in a good way! Your story is probably a lot like most of ours (with its own unique spin, of course).

Everyone has journey they experience as systems grow and improve in terms of quality - and what's fun is that quality is all relative to everyone's own experiences (and tastes)!

Thanks for sharing your story (not to mention your HT)! Welcome to the community!!
