(March 14, 2022) Rallying wallet conscious bass-heads worldwide, Monolith by Monoprice has unveiled two new heavy-hitting models priced $1,299 and $1799 respectively. This time, the disruptive brand is unleashing two tower designs, the M-210 dual 10" driver and M-212 dual 12" driver, squeezing multi-driver performance from the footprint of a standard-sized box.

The M-210 enters the ring touting THX Certified Ultra performance, harnessing the power of a Claridy 1000 Watts RMS (1800 Watts peak) Class D amp. Output is honed by an onboard TI 48-bit DSP engine and ultimately delivered using dual-10" drivers comprised of 2-layer long fiber pulp/glass fiber cones (Xmax: 18mm one-way; Xmech: 78mm peak-to-peak).

The M-201's Black Ash PVC finished cabinet (23.6" L x 17.7" W x 36.4" H, 162-pounds) can be run sealed (20-200Hz) or vented (16-200Hz), with input accepted via two RCA or 1 XLR input.

The M-212 also offers THX Certified Ultra performance, presenting in a cabinet that's 36.4" L x 17.7" W x 23.6" H (174-pounds). Using the same amp technology found on the M-210, the M-212's dual 12" drivers (Xmax: 18mm one-way; Xmech: 80mm peak-to-peak) are factory specified to hit to 16Hz (ported) and 20Hz (sealed).

THX's Ultra badge is a stamp of output approval, ensuring each sub can reach volumes necessary to achieve reference bass without creating audible distortion or artifacts. Both the M-210 and M-212 can operate effectively in rooms up to 3,000 cubic feet in size, with a 10‑12 foot viewing distance from a screen.
