(September 17, 2025) Monitor Audio is continuing to expand its acclaimed Creator Series, this time with three large-format In-Wall speakers and a new range of Mount Boxes designed to take installation flexibility to another level. These additions build on the series’ reputation for clever engineering and practical solutions that simplify specifying and installing architectural speakers, while delivering performance that matches the brand’s hi-fi pedigree.

The new In-Wall Large models are designed for projects where scale, output, and presence are required, whether that’s an open-plan living space, a dedicated home cinema, or a media room. Each incorporates the hallmarks of the Creator Series, including Quik-Link pre-cabling for easier wiring, Tri-Grip II dog-legs for secure mounting, and advanced metal-cone driver technologies that Monitor Audio has refined for decades. A dedicated back box is available for each model, ensuring consistent acoustic performance.

As with the rest of the Creator Series, the In-Wall Large lineup is structured into three tiers, making it easy to match to budget and performance expectations. The entry W1L uses a two-way C-CAM driver arrangement with UD Waveguide I dispersion control. The step-up W2L is a three-way model with RST II mid-bass and bass drivers, UD Waveguide II, and a rotational mid-pod that makes it suitable for LCR use. At the top, the W3L offers RDT III bass drivers, a C-CAM mid-driver, and Monitor Audio’s flagship MPD II transducer, also with a rotational mid-pod for seamless cinema integration. Across the board, the goal is clear: room-filling, dynamic sound that stays discreet once installed.

Alongside the new in-walls, Monitor Audio has introduced five Mount Box designs, available in Satin White or Matte Black, that allow any Creator Series speaker to be positioned on a wall or ceiling when in-wall or in-ceiling mounting isn’t possible. Four ceiling versions cover small, medium, and large in-ceiling models, while the on-wall option supports the medium in-wall models. Each Mount Box is acoustically optimized for the speaker it houses, avoiding the compromises of improvised enclosures and reducing the need for major structural changes. For installers and DIY users alike, this means faster setup, straightforward maintenance, and a sleek look that blends with modern interiors.

Together, the new In-Wall Large speakers and Mount Boxes show Monitor Audio’s focus on creating an ecosystem that is both performance-first and installer-friendly. As Michael Johnson, the company’s Global Marketing Director, explains, “The Creator Series has already set a new benchmark in architectural audio. With these new additions, we are giving integrators more power and more flexibility, while ensuring that homeowners enjoy uncompromising sound in any space.”

Pricing lands at $1,250 for the W1L, $1,900 for the W2L, and $2,800 for the flagship W3L, while Mount Boxes range from $200 to $365 depending on model. The In-Wall Large speakers will be available from late September, with Mount Boxes following in November.
