Is it possible to have a gated fft to measure the distortion using a shaped single tone burst or maybe multiple to get adequate resolution. I can save a wave file and import it into the rta to access the resolution limits. I can save the output of the scope to a text file. The rta will read a wave file. It sems as though there are many possible paths to achieve my goal of measuring peak power distortion. If there is a way to do this that I am missing please let me know.
