(December 14, 2023) Calling all Dead Heads! Actually... calling all Dead Heads and McIntosh fans! McIntosh, the famed keeper of the green glow, has created a 18" x 24" print poster to celebrate its decades-long relationship with the Grateful Dead. The poster was created by artist AJ Masthay, who's known for his extensive work with the Dead. Each poster was hand-printed by Masthay using a reduction block printing process and quality, 100% cotton printmaking paper. Signed and individually numbered, McIntosh only commissioned 250 prints, many of which have been sold.

This coming Thursday, December 14 (2:00PM EST), McIntosh is selling its last few copies. The company says customers who previously purchased a poster are not eligible for another copy; sales are limited to within the United States.

The poster is priced at $195. Click here for more information.

Never have been a Grateful Dead fan, although I camped out for about a week back in Feb/Mar 1995 for tickets that went on sale for their last year of touring and the concert at BJCC in Birmingham, AL, in April 1995. I remember going to the concert. First time ever at a Dead show. We walked in, and folks were slow-motion dancing like ballerinas in the hallways... no doubt tripping. About 45 minutes into the show, they took a break and flipped on the lights. Looking around, we could see bongs everywhere and the security just ignored it. Of course, it already smelt like a reefer pit in the auditorium. The girl next to us had the little white squares the put on their tongue, and I asked her what it was like. She said it was like traveling to the moon. She asked me if I'd like to join her, but I told her I preferred staying right here on earth. I might gave taken a toke or two on one of those bongs though. :innocent:

Cool poster... wouldn't mind having one, but I suspect they will be hard to get.

LOL.... great story.

I like The Dead, but much prefer Jerry Garcia's acoustic albums. Talented for sure.
