Gotta give a shout out to KT Electronics in San Jose.
So, as some of you may know, my Early 2011 MacBook Pro died in April. It suffered, as many of these units did, from a graphics issue. Unfortunately Dec '16 Apple declared these a Legacy product and stopped supporting them. Could not find anyone who would touch a logic board repair. Finally came across KT Electronics and asked them if this was something they could repair. They told me;
"Yep, we specialize in component level board repairs and can definitely help service this for you. We just have 2 standard flat-rate prices for the repairs.
If your system is non-retina, it would just be $149 flat-rate for the repair and if your system is retina model, it would be $179 flat-rate.
All our repairs also comes with 90-day warranty."
I'd say this was a great deal, especially when compared to the price of a new MacBook Pro. Turn around time was great as well considering I sent it to them on a Friday, they received it on a Tuesday, had it repaired by Friday and I recieved it on Monday.
Thet do a lot of other repairs as well, Playstation, Xbox, iPhones, Samsung phones, tablets, etc.
If any of you need a similar repair, I highly recommend them.
