Hi all,
I'm a physicist and it looks like I stumbled onto a great piece of software! I've not been much of a sound geek until now, so apologies for being lost from the very start. I only just installed REW today as ChatGPT suggested it would be the perfect software for what I have to achieve.

I need to monitor noise level in a room over a 3 days interval. I will only have access to the flat at the beginning and the end, so I cannot manually interfere. I thought I would learn how to do this with REW, but the "Measure" window appears to restrict me to much shorter intervals of time. It allows for repeated measurements, but still not enough to get up to 3 days. I have hundreds of gigabytes free on my hard drive, so there's definitely enough space to store any file or recording.

Is it possible to achieve what I need with REW?

Actually the logger can run continuously, capturing data to files named by day. More in the SPL meter help. The recent change is to allow configurable rolling Leq figures to be logged where desired.
