(September 2, 2025) Klipsch is bringing its flavor of sound to the outdoors with the launch of its new Courtyard Landscape Speaker System. Designed to withstand the elements while delivering the punch and clarity Klipsch is known for, Courtyard arrives as a complete 4.1 single-box solution that includes four horn-loaded satellites, a low-profile subwoofer, and all the necessary hardware for installation. It is a ready-to-go package that makes it easier than ever to add big sound to patios, gardens, or poolside spaces.

Each Courtyard satellite carries Klipsch’s signature horn-loaded design, flexing a 4" woofer and a 1" aluminum dome tweeter paired with Tractrix horn technology. The satellites are built into tilting head assemblies that lock into place for precise aiming, while detachable stakes provide flexibility for ground placement. Expansion is simple: add two more satellites with an optional pack, or link two Courtyard systems together for a massive 8.2 outdoor experience.

The 10" subwoofer has been designed with versatility in mind. It can be placed above ground or partially buried for a more discreet look. Anchors and stake mounts keep it secure, while a cable management alcove keeps wiring hidden for clean, professional-looking installs. Despite its low profile, the sub delivers the bass punch needed to carry music outdoors, rounding out the system with energy and depth.

Klipsch has clearly considered durability alongside performance. Finished in a matte brown to blend with landscaping, both the satellites and the subwoofer are IPX7 rated, meaning they can weather rain, snow, direct sun, and even high-pressure water jets. In other words, their design should deliver seasons of backyard barbecues, evening hangouts, and pool parties.

The Courtyard system also emphasizes convenience. It ships with hammer-friendly caps, silicone wire nuts, and an Allen wrench, cutting down on installation headaches. For power, connect it through zone two of an AVR, a streaming amplifier, or step up to one of Integra’s latest amps for the best possible performance.

Available this month, the Courtyard 4.1 system retails for $1,799.99, while the two-speaker expansion pack is priced at $599.99.
