Hey, folks! I wrapped up my (subjective and objective) review of the Kef R3. Kinda late to the party since everyone has reviewed these already but I feel like I bring something different to the table so hopefully you guys get something from it.

I like the concept of the R3, i.e. a separate woofer. The Achilles' Hell of KEF Uni-Q is modulation of the tweeter response due to the moving horn (i.e. the woofer cone) in front of it. How tremendous a problem that is I've never seen measured, but like Thiel once upon a time, cutting the low frequencies out of the coax driver kills off that problem.
