Hi John,
when I try to import a measurement text file I get the error as per heading.
Attached also the file I am trying to import.

It isn't good for comment lines to start with numbers, can't really distinguish them from data lines. Delete the first line or use a comment that doesn't start with a number and it will be OK.

Thanks.
I have found that it is not the number at the beginning but the space between the words in the comment line that generates the error. I deleted the space and the text file is loaded.
